Weekly Devotions Of Love And Courage!

I have found that it takes courage to stand in the midst of loss and devastation of loosing a loved one. I have also found that it takes love to reach out to our family members and others in our devastation's of loss and grief, love that goes beyond our human instincts a love placed deep in our heart by our Creator. A love that only God has placed in our beings with His compassion giving us courage and love to carry on. It took courage and love for first responders of any tragedy to march in knowing that they were not coming out alive, to lay their lives down for another life. It takes love and courage for a mom, dad, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin, grandmother, grandfather or stranger to pick up the pieces for their children and families when disaster strikes.

I have found that it takes courage to face grief and loss but I have also found that it takes love, God's love to fill me and lift me up again to run the race that is placed before each of us for our lives. Only in God's love is there healing but it takes courage to trust again and allow God to heal your broken heart. God's word says when we are weak He is strong and I have found that to be true in my life. When I have cried tears of loss, God has caught every tear and remembers my tears just as He does for you and keeps your tears in a bottle. God loves you and wants to strengthen you and restore you and your family even though it might be the deepest valley of your life. I have found that in my valleys of life there God was with all His love comforting me and strengthening me to stand again and to carry on reaching out to others with His love. I know God will do the same for you! Trust God again and know that He loves you and has a plan and purpose for your life and families life, a plan to prosper you and not harm you. I pray that you will continue to see the blessings of God in your life and families lives. Terrorism comes to steal, kill and destroy, but God came to give life and life more abundantly.
